This is a beautiful depiction of Kumbhakarna by artist Paolo Libralesso. Kumbhakarna was the younger brother of Ravan and a giant. He was notorious for sleeping 6 months at a time and waking up only to eat.

The artist demonstrates his sheer size by placing elephants on his head and also the depth of his sleep as nothing could wake him once he was in deep slumber.
